Product Details

This Coil-Over / ShockWave set-up kit lets you build your chassis at ride height and see what happens when the shock is topped or bottomed out. Price is for one pair (to replace two coil overs).

The kit is designed for both 1/2” and 5/8” upper and lower mounting bolts.
When 1/2” mounting bolts are used, centers can be from 7-7/8” to 12-3/4” (in 3/8" increments) using the standard kit and from 7-7/8” to 19-1/8” (in 3/8" increments) with the extension option.
When 5/8” mounting bolts are used, centers can be from 8-3/4” to 13-5/8” (in 3/8" increments) using the standard kit and from 8-3/4” to 20” (in 3/8" increments) with the extension option.
The Spring Set-up T is handy to see where the approximate outer edge of the spring will be. Use elastic bands or string in the notches to approximate the outside of the coil spring.
Always use 2 bolts to fasten any 2 pieces together. The washers for adjacent bolts should not overlap each other. Locate the bolts in holes so the plates are against each other.
Use flat washers under the bolt head and under the nut.

Washers are not necessary to attach the Spring Set-up T.

Thanks for the name, Patty!

  1. Can I use Duralast Wires? I just bought some not to long ago, and I was wondering if I could just switch out the terminal ends and use those.

  2. im very interested in purchasing this upgrade,
I have a very bad issue with my VR6, it turns over run for like a minute idling extremely rough and then shut down, I can maintain it on by playing with the gas pedal,
anyways researching came across a lot of the same issues with people, not as bad as mine but the same, and in these case people do suggest coil pack failure, and then I see a best solution is this MSD upgrade.

    any suggestions.

    1. I can’t guarantee that this upgrade will solve your issue, but it will help it to run better once any other issues are addressed. Have you inspected the coil pack for cracks?
      Thanks for writing.
