Lokar’s ED‑5001 is a high‑quality flexible dipstick designed for 1980‑and‑later small‑block Chevy engines. It features a stainless steel braided housing with an internal PTFE liner that resists kinks, heat, and abrasion. The inner dipstick cable is molded into a flexible steel rod with factory‑accurate oil level markings, eliminating potential misreads. It installs directly into the passenger‑side dipstick hole and uses a push‑in billet‑aluminum handle with an O‑ring seal to prevent oil leakage. The slim housing design allows installation inside headers or clearance spaces without heat damage or binding.
