The ATA‑6905 is a Lokar-designed switch that installs directly onto any Lokar shifter. It can be configured to operate as either a neutral safety switch or a backup light switch, depending on the wiring setup. When wired as a neutral safety switch, it prevents the vehicle from starting unless the transmission is in Park or Neutral. Alternatively, it can be used to activate reverse lights when the shifter is placed in the reverse position. The kit includes the switch and a mounting washer for secure installation within the shifter assembly. Only one function (neutral safety or backup light) can be used at a time.
