Mechanical-to-electronic vehicle speed sensor designed to make upgrading to an electric speedometer quick and straightforward while using factory-style speedometer cable outputs. This sensor is compatible with GM and Chrysler transmissions equipped with a 7/8 in.-18 threaded speedometer cable connection.

Using variable reluctance technology, the sensor produces an 8 pulse-per-revolution sine-wave signal suitable for many electronic speedometers. It installs directly in place of the mechanical speedometer cable drive and is ideal for street rods, customs, and muscle cars converting from mechanical to electronic speedometer systems.
