When Camaro rotors are used on Mustang II spindles, this nut kit lets you put a cotter pin through the stock spindle hole.
The nut is thinner than stock but has a retainer washer pressed on. This provides more thread contact, for greater strength, than nuts that are just cut thinner. The castellated retainer allows precise bearing adjustment.
This kit is included in our #2136 Mustang II brake kit.
THESE SHOULD NOT BE USED WITH GRANADA ROTORS. THEY MIGHT NOT TIGHTEN ENOUGH OR MIGHT LOOSEN THE BEARINGS ENOUGH THAT THE ROTOR AND WHEEL WILL WOBBLE DANGEROUSLY.
