Next-generation gear shift position sensor designed to accurately display transmission detent positions. The compact GSS-3000 features a reduced-size decoder module with inboard terminals for simplified installation and wiring. Fully compatible with Dakota Digital VFD, VHX, HDX, and RTX instrument systems, as well as DGS-series standalone indicators.

Equipped with built-in outputs for reverse lights (up to 15 amps) and a neutral safety switch using the included 30-amp relay. User-calibrated for 2–4 forward gear positions plus Park, Reverse, and Neutral. Includes stainless steel and aluminum mounting hardware to fit most automatic transmissions, including GM TH350, TH400, 700R4, 4L60/70/80, and Ford C-4 and C-6. A universal bracket is provided for other transmission types.
